Long CD0: mounting

I've just connected Asus 50x CDROM drive to my A1200 and installed AsimCDFS. Everything works but mounting cd0: is very long (about 20 sec.).
What can be a reason of this?

My hardware: A1200, OS 3.1, 68030, 16MB Fast, standard IDE interface.

Below is my CD0 file:

************************************************************************/
/* AsimCDFS v3 MountList entry -- ©1993-1998 Asimware Innovations Inc. */
/************************************************************************/
Device = asim_atapi.device
Unit = 1
Mount = 1
Buffers = 0
BufMemType = 5
Mask = 0xffffffe
Flags = 0
FileSystem = l:AsimCDFS
DosType = 0x662dabac
GlobVec = -1
Reserved = 0
LowCyl = 0
HighCyl = 999
Surfaces = 1
BlocksPerTrack = 32
Priority = 10
StackSize = 5000

Its that with a disc in?

If so;
Maybe the drive needs time to spinup. Mine takes about 10 to 15 secs.

Yep I have an Asus CD-RW on my A4000D with IDEFix and mounting a new cd takes 3-5 seconds

I don't have any delays without a cd. You should seriously try IDEFix

I would agree, dont have this problem using IDEFIX's atapi.device and mount list.
