If you only have 2Mb of chip memory and no fast memory, you need to ditch all that useless crap in the Workbench install. Close every window you don't need, colours down to 4, preferably don't even run Workbench, CTRL-D the startup-sequence and manually start the game etc. A 1Mb game like PushOver will struggle to run with only 2Mb chip mem when all the overhead of the O/S are taken into account.

Best solution would be to buy a cheap 030 accelerator with say 8Mb+ of memory on it!

I have noticed a few Blizzard 030's going on ebay lately - they range in price from around £70 to £90 at the moment... if you are just going to use the A1200 as a WHDLoad games machine you could get one of these accelerators - they are very good and the memory they take is pretty standard...

Typically there doesn't appear to be any on UK Ebay at the moment but I spotted this one...

Might be worth an offer...

As people above have said, WHDload is a memory hog for many larger titles.

I did my very best to make the LITE version as memory friendly as possible for 2MB A1200 owners, while retaining great usability.

In order to get rid of all the crap Codetapper mentioned, you also have the option of using the multiboot features:

http://classicwb.abime.net/classicweb/multiboot.htm

If you can't run it from shell however, it's not going to run. The size of your hard drive buffers can also eat into your 2MB, even in shell...
