I have a weird schisophrenic feeling. In my opinion, Amiga is Turrican and Turrican is Amiga, but the game itself is also multiplatform. Strange feeling, really. :-/
So my another Amiga exclusive favourite is Zeewolf 2: Wild justice |

Forgot about Wings for GBA. All the fun is gone in the dogfights which no longer use vector gfx. Still an official port/remake.
No version of Turrican I can compare to the Amiga version. This holds true for many other Amiga games, too. |

I think this is a question I simply cannot answer. Most of the games already listed I didn't even play! Most good games went to multiple platforms anyway.
I'll just go along with what has already been stated; to me there is only one version of Turrican 2 and that is the Amiga version. All other versions are simply shadows of it, including the 256 color PC mishap. So I'm going to put my foot down and name Turrican 2 |

I know, the same with Hired guns, my most favourite game ever. The original Amiga version just rocks, but still, there is that lame PC port so HG is not Amiga exclusive anymore. On the other hand, we can pretend that we have never heard about any other version

Psygnosis where making a new pc version of it, using the unreal engine. When i saw it was still in the pre alpha stage so didnt look very much, I expect it was one of the many titles that got canned arround that time.

Probably a later revision compared to the one you had seen.
It plays relatively well for a beta version, although there are some random bugs and some of them are critical. Some nice concepts and gameplay elements. A finalized version would have been probably been a good game (perhaps not as great as the original HG but far better than the average game). Btw, for whoever is interested I have what I suppose was the last released trailer, on Youtube: [ Show youtube player ] |

Another vote for F/A-18 Interceptor.
I nearly bought an ST until I saw that running on an Amiga in the shop! |

For me Turrican II rather than SOTB was the showcase game for the Amiga. It blew me away when I first saw a crowd of people huddled around an Amiga 500 playing (or drooling over) it in the basement of a seaside computer shop. Holidays and discovering classic Amiga titles; now they're the kind of memories childhoods are made of!
