Excelsior!, HydraBBS and Zeus
Hey, hey
 Website on address http://www.excelsiorbbs.com is up and working... but downloads section does not start downloads  i am interested in: ebbs_123.lha bbs_key.lha emanual.pdf E122PPack.lha Anyone got backups to zone it? Thanks in advance... Testing various BBS software so i can decide which one will i choose for my "soon-to-come" telnet BBS. For now, my favorite is HydraBBS V1.12  Don't have a keyfile for it, so lots of popups... if someone would point a way to obtain it...  The only one i can't connect to is Zeus BBS V1.7 (is there V1.8?)... all other packages work excellent with telnetd.device via 127.0.0.1 or external public IP, but Zeus not reacting at all. Accepts configuration when i choose telnetd.device and then nothing... status is "Waiting for call" This is all done in WinUAE with bsdsocket.library. Anyone have experience setting up telnet node in Zeus? |

Got Zeus working... It was problem with Connector not loaded on line i was testing
 No one has backup of Excelsior! files: ebbs_123.lha and bbs_key.lha?

i have one backup for full working excelsior BBS
UAE need some extra software if it need answer any outside calls and do not forget set AT command right for answer at&s0=x |

Ok, now that i solved Excelsior! and Zeus, there is only a HydraBBS V1.12 keyfile problem ^^

and yes alot of problems here orginal A2000 BBS get jam and backup A4000 trop offline :/ top of that my internet drop under 1Mg speed (upload 0.14k) still try to find why BBS jam > ( just stop no guru ) |

I have read that Zeus 1.7 has issues while 1.6 is more stable. Has anyone version 1.6 ?

I suggest you to try DLGBBS too, it is one of the best BBS software of that time.

ZeusBBS system is only one. Site has not been updated but in the underground there are newer version of the software.
