Is it the red led vs green led thing? At least I relate that to the Old/Newer Agnus.

Most Psygnosis games were available as NTSC versions.

Dyna Blaster, at least the version I had always switched to NTSC display on my A500.
Does a PAL specific version even exist of this game as I have yet to find one ? |

I don't think it's a "real" NTSC display.. isn't it more like some crazy PAL 60Hz ?

Can't say.
I just remember my 1084S switched resolution and black borders where added in top and bottom on screen. The only way I know of to get this game game to run in 50hz is to use the CUSTOM1=2 (PAL display) tool type in the WHDLoad version. [edit] From WHDLoad install readme; The game is designed for a NTSC display. By default, the game runs with a fake NTSC screen display. If your monitor or TV supports NTSC, you should use `NTSC' in tooltypes. For PAL display, use CUSTOM1=2. |

A lot of games were NTSC during the first few years of the Amiga (1000), as I remember seeing a large gap at the bottom of PAL amiga's screen. It was annoying! Then a few years later when all the games were PAL they filled the gap.

What about the Rick Dangerous series? Did those games ever get an NTSC release?
