Amikit problem
I'm trying to use Amikit installation to configure 4GB CF card to be used on real Amiga 1200... The problem is that I don't know where to disable hard drive protection (in Winuae) in order to us Amikit for this task. I cannot ad command line to executable file and bat file with such command is not working as Amikit is bypassing it... Thanks for help.

Make a new desktop shortcut, point it to the winuae.exe file in the Amikit directory and add the -disableharddrivesafetycheck switch to the command line. Then run it, go to the Configurations page and double click the Amikit configuration.
The other possibility is to run DiskPart and clean the CF card before you use it in WinUAE, then you don't need to disable the safety check. |

If you create a shortcut for Winuae, it (the shortcut) will run Winuae, not Amikit. Do not start Amikit, start the Winuae shortcut. |
