cd32 sx1 AT keyboard compatibility...

I dusted off my cd32 + sx1 the other day and have been redoing the OS and dreaming of all the new adapters out there....so I decided to test around a bit with the AT keyboard port on the sx1.

I can get a normal AT keyboard to work through it, but I can't seem to get a PS/2 keyboard to with with an AT->PS/2 adapter.
There's a few places online that suggest AT and PS/2 are nearly identical interfaces ( https://deskthority.net/wiki/AT_keyboard_interface ), but it seems info about that is a bit harder for me to find. Does anyone know if there's something I'm missing? Maybe the compatibility only goes one way?

The compatibility goes many ways, but probably the keyboard you found is just a tiny bit off that the SX1 doesn't want to listen to it.

I think you may be right. The PS/2 keyboard I'm trying to use a Logitech rt7r00.

I had the same problem and finally the vendor change it for an amiga 4000 keyboard and everything goes fine.

I have a working keyboard for it, but it would be nice to know if I could use something a bit more modern (wireless/backlit/mechanical/etc.) without having to buy an adapter.

I use IBM SK-8820 which is PS/2.
Still a wired KB, but at least black.
