I try to get the multipliers as a priority, because once you have a 1 million+ bonus multipliers can make a huge difference to the score - especially if you get the bonus held lit

I just happened to do it on my last run on Steel Wheel - a bit due to getting lucky with hitting the trap and not losing the ball when shooting the 3 white lights. I, too, find it quite hard to hit the trap deliberately so it's definitely more difficult to apply the repeated double bonus technique on this table. But, if you do manage to get a good run going the score will be a lot higher than with the 1st class carriers (although you can still rack up a lot of points that way).

There is only space for ten digits on the scoreboard. I found out that scores and bonuses wrap after 10 billion.

After playing for a few hours I finally managed to increase my score on Steel Wheel. A x7 multiplier (earning me ~15 million) and 2 extra balls helped me get this most excellent score.

Steel Wheel: 83,064,541
Beat Box: 45,168,763

Progress, but it's so slow it's almost physically painful.

Very lucky, the very last thing that happened on my final ball was to get in the spin trap and double my score. I've never had a score like that before.

Did I miss something? How come mailman is not currently listed in the rankings on page 1 of this thread?

BTW, managed to up my score by 1 million on Beat Box, but need to do much better to recover my 4th/5th place spot.

Edit: Just spotted why. mihcael is listed twice!!

Strange glitch just occured on Beat Box. I was lucky it was at the start of a game. The ball bounced at speed in the direction of the red arrow and kept on going. After dissappearing offscreen, it duly kept travelling left... so much so that it appeared on the right of the screen and continued travelling left until it was offscreen again. This kept happening. I could still activate flippers and the launch spring, but the escape key (exit game) failed to work.

Anyone else have this occur?

I've never seen that before. In fact I am aware of bugs on all four tables but not that one!

In the past I had this error once or twice. It looks like a bug in the game.

I played most of today and the last 2 days after work, but wasn't able to better my top scores - except for Beat Box where I upped it by 1 million. I did increase my other scores on most tables.

Sadly, looks like I'll finish 7th this time
