Thanks!
No need for an Indivision ECS, the Picasso IV has got a built-in scandoubler/flickerfixer (not for all video modes, but games/demos e.g. do fine). As for a Deneb, I see no real use for it. I use the PCMCIA<->CF adapter to transfer files, FAT formatted. It even supports hot-swapping. What I *do* want to get though is a Zorro II sound card, or maybe the sound card module for my Picasso IV. Maybe a rev 6.4 A2000 motherboard as well... Mine is a rev 4.3 hacked to 5.x sorta, with some "not sure what I am doing" modifications. |

8bitbubsy, have you tried any PCMCIA cards on your SCSI<->CF card reader, if they work I might look at getting one and attach it to my Emplant card, or GVP a4000-HC+8. That would be one way to get USB and Ethernet onto my 4000D.

Incredible machine. I love it. Could you do something perhaps with the Scsi Card reader bezel to fit better?

@The_Mutt
The SCSI Multicard reader isn't compatible with Ethernet PCMCIA NICS. Tbh, only Mass Storage devices work on that reader. |

Just saw this thread and firstly "wow"! That's some hefty setup/mod! Excuse my ignorance, but I once thought if you go too far with Amiga, you'll lose the backward compatibility with certain games... maybe this is just a figment of my imagination! Well done 8bitbubsy!

Affff... totally drooling on your machines 8bitbusy... I've found a very decently priced stock A2000 for sale, but I'm wondering how much customizable this Miggy actually is. Looks ike there are many possible expansions, ain't there?

@8bitbubsy
Is there any chance you can re-upload the photos you've included in this thread? I'm working on my own A2000 and looking for "inspiration". Thanks! |
