how do i use bomb using competition pro where both buttons are button 1?

Glad it's not just me then! I thought it a little strange given 1 button is kind of the norm for Amiga and 2 button is more CD32. I initially tried it on a machine with no joystick plugged in so I didn't really get as far as working out what I'd use for button 2 as I didn't have my joystick to hand at all

You can modify Competition Pro to support two bottons, there is topic in EAB.

More details are in lower section on page about DB-9.

No, there is no "norm" about 1 button, some games were supporting 2 buttons originally. CD32 is supporting up to 7 buttons, not 2.
That way of thinking was main cause of some games with messed control.

Edit: I think not forcing at least 2 button standard was one of Commodore's mistakes. Some games gain in playability when played with two (or more) buttons.

i'm not capable of doing any hardware modifications, so it won't be possible for me to play this game as intended...

Hi @honx and @MartinW;

Opsss, that's my fault... I guess
I always had 2 button joysticks on my Amiga so I made the game for using 2 buttons.
I made this small update that uses the Space Bar for Bombs, hope it helps
