Running 'classic' games in OS4.1?

I have OS4.1 FE Classic running in WinUAE.
Now, I've been away from the Amiga since 2000 (ish), back then I ran all my games from floppy despite my setup (A1200 PPC, CV64/3D etc etc).

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to play classic games within the emulated 4.1 environment?
Will it work with WHDLoad games? (willing to pay the licence for WHDLoad) or do I need to do something else to get them up and running?

OS4.1 doesn't support classic games that shut down the OS, so they simply won't work. 4.1FE does ship with UAE integrated, so you can run classic games in an emulator within OS 4.1 by double-clicking it, but if you're emulating a classic (or running on a real classic), it's probably a lot easier and faster to create a dual-boot setup running OS 3.

Running games from floppy (ADF) should still work fine however, since booting from cold the classic is still in OS 3 / 68k mode, and when it detects the floppy it will boot from that instead of the hard drive.

WHDload does not require registration any longer and is free for anyone.

As mentioned, OS 4 is for PPC and will only run native 68k games through UAE and to me it seems a little silly to run UAE within WinUAE, so just setup another WinUAE config with OS3.1 with WHDload and the games you want.
