I did it by hand. Pure pixelpower.
Not yet. I think DeeJay´s stage can be fixed by hand but I´m not sure about the China stage. Do you think this is only a palette issue or gfx errors? |

Ah yes, I like your new Ken gfx.
Did you use the original SSF2 64 colours palette? |

Yes, right. But at least I am happy that I can "finalize" the SSF2 backs.
Thanks for that, Boo Boo! I´ll work on Chun Li´s stage this evening. I think I only have to alter a small part of the floor. The rest will be copied then. |

I tried the finalized backgrounds...I did some mistakes.
I have to remove or heavily change the anti-alias thingie on Guile´s stage. In addition to that there are some minor pixel errors left. Hopefully I will upload up to six "cleaned" backgrounds tonight. Last edited by viddi; 17 November 2008 at 00:26. |

The first part of this project is cleaning up and polishing the given stages.
But I think it´s worth a try. -> http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=476010&postcount=59 Just unpack the .zip files and replace the stageX.dat files in the SSF2-data folder. |

Viddi,
Real nice work. You're a very talented (and patient) pixelart artist! |

Oh thanks, xpect. Too bad I had to remove some anti-alias effects...
Okay, four backgrounds left...I hope Boo Boo can provide me with the other stages soon. |

Why did you have to remove anti-alias effects? They will get done -Also I noticed the Bonus levels should also be ripped. |

Thanks a lot! Cammy already pointed out that anti-aliasing to white won´t work. So, I have to rework Guile´s stage again. On Zangief´s stage I had to remove the anti-alias of the blue pullover. One given shade of blue wasn´t in the original palette and I got wrong colours in the game afterwards. Last edited by viddi; 19 November 2008 at 14:44. |

Ah yes! Right, the bonus levels. Great idea.
And I´d like to change these "and", "presents" and "in association with" screens from the intro. I´d prefer a black background. (And we could credit ourselves. ) |
