"EAI_AGAIN" seems to be a DNS issue. If you can try to use a different DNS server or use the IP for the FTP directly (95.217.105.104).

I use Filezilla on another database and I had to set up external IP addressing for it to work. Maybe the same here.

I'm still on vacation but got a mail from Hetzner about a broken switch, affecting ftp2.grandis.nu
Edit: Should not cause any downtime.. Not verified but incase there is a problem, now you know https://status.hetzner.com/incident/...2-5f98c5c8a736 |

I noticed that ftp2 was quite slow the last couple of days. Might be related.

Wanted to report this for ages, but always end up forgetting it. Until now.
When you click the Browse FTP link on the Turran FTP page... It always ends up with this redirection error: Can it be fixed? |

Well, its because you are browsing to grandis.nu directly which is in a state of "backup" and I do not want people to download from there directly.
Just change your bookmark to use ftp2.grandis.nu or ftp.grandis.nu instead. I will change the text there so it looks less like an error.. thanks |

I've changed the welcome message when logging on to the FTP with the donations. It now lists how we are doing, budget wise.
Since Filezilla is an idiot and hides the welcome message by default, I've also included a Donations.txt file in the root of the FTP with this information. This is because I like to be open with the costs & how much are covered by the donations. Please note that the costs shown are only for the hosting of ftp.grandis.nu & ftp2.grandis.nu. The offsite backup and offline backup are not included in that price. I'd like to once again thank everyone who donated. |

I am temporarily archiving the "Amiga TOSEC" and all folders in "TOSEC - Non-Amiga" into tar.gz files in the /Tempdir folder. This is only available on ftp2.grandis.nu and the archive process is currently running.. refresh a few times to see when filesizes stop updating to know if its done.
This is for those that want the whole TOSEC for something but can't download thousands of files for some reason... Will be removed in the future. |
