I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for any unknown Gry requests. Hope I can remember where I stashed that translator...

Yeah, I know. In fact, it's the only Polish word I know. I learned it pretty quick when perusing Polish Amiga sites over the last year. I did pick up some other words along the way, but this is the only one that stuck, naturally.

I just found a dir in my MIA directory called Polish Amiga (I have several dirs of Polish stuff, so you know) and it has several lzx and lha files that I haven't yet gotten around to looking at. One is Arkanoid. Others are Glista, Kosci, Kuleczki, Montezuma, Tetris-II, Galaktyka, Kolonia, Osiol, Totolotek, and Compucala. I assume these are PD, but AMOS 3D is amongst this stuff, so who knows. And somewhere in all of this is info on Polish educational software for the Amiga, which seems fairly plentiful (lots of stuff from TimSoft, etc.)

The Polish scene on the Amiga seemed to happen when the Amiga was being abandoned by everybody else. What a shame, as so many Polish games just look wonderful with nice gfx and sounds, fluent animation, etc. Kudos to the Pl guys for following their hearts by producing some great games for a machine that wasn't (isn't) dead yet!

Yup! Not exactly known for my fluent language knowledge, but I know my spiel (even if most translators turn that one into play...)

@nice forum

Very nice, indeed... :hoo

Since I do understand a bit of Polish I found that you got a FTP. Unfortunately it is protected by a password and not sure who should I ask for?
