@fisken uno

sorry, it was a dead link and is fixed now

@NightShade737

I´ll try to fix it soon ...

@haynor

I didn´t have the time for that, but the translation via freetranslation.com should work. But if there is anyone who want to work on it, it´ll be welcome.

Thanks

Excellent site Tomtom! I only use a real A1200 for my amiga games - something not right about using a PC... And your site is a fantastic way of installing these old games.

Most of my originals are buggered now, and I've found most WHDload patches doesn't work with the evil cracked adfs all over the 'net.

Incidently, another good site for HD games was www.gandimann.de - there were tonnes of good games there, but they are not there anymore.

Does anyone know what happened to them all? I only visited the site a few times, and each time only downloaded a couple of files. I wish I had got many more when I was there!

PS would like 'Midwinter' and 'Super Stardust A1200' to complete my original collection!

Cheers

Gandimann have had Traffic-problems with his site and have changed it. He offers just a very small collection in his Download-Area jet and changes it all few days. There you can find some WHD-Versions and some CAPS-Versions too.
I´ll try to add Midwinter to the zone for you and add Super Stardust with the next update to my site.

Nightshade, looks like got a nice site there, good to see you sorted out all the anti-leech scripty bits!

And TomTom's site is superb, I used to go there loads before it went down and keep having a look every now and then to keep myself uptodate. I remember Tom filling a few requests I made years back.

Gandimann's is a good site too, I've been helping him get all the caps releases and he does change the files every few days/a week which is cool.

It's all about the sharing!

Cheers Nightshade - I'll try these when I get home!

Nice to see some real gems of websites out there amongst the crap.

Tomtom - had some trouble with the site - kept telling me that I was trying to download from another site (some leech protection) which didn't own the files. Using a computer with Norton Firewall - would this cause that problem? Tried it using my work machine and it downloaded fine.

I assume Norton firewall was denying your server info on what website I had come from - so it assumed i'd come from somewhere else. IP address was logged, but originator website blank.

Great site anyway - keep up the good work.

I noticed! Looks good, nightshade. Its come a long way since the last time I visited!

Where do you keep files like the 'midwinter' one above (i.e. complete install - no seperate .adf required) on your web site - I couldn't find them on my quick look. I'll have a good rumage thru when I have more time.

At the moment I currently only link the WHDLoads when I add a game to the database, but I think I will add a little search function for WHDLoad files a bit later.

If thats happening it could be either your Webbrowser or Firewall that blocks the referrer.

PS. Is there any live left on the site? I downloaded quite alot from there.
