Amiga disk bitmap editor

I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, it was on a Discovery utilities disk with about 1 million other utils.

It was very useful, in that you could assign tracks or blocks or sectors as used on an AmigaDOS disk, so that when you copied a load of files onto the disk, the track/block/sector you assigned as used in the disk bitmap structure wouldn't be overwritten or touched.

Anyone remember what the hell it was? Was about 30 years ago I last used it :/

None rings a bell, no worries, just have to do it by hand.

Hi Galahad,

If you do have to resort to doing it by hand, this post contains a handy bitmap block map.

:/
I used such a tool to create a bootable single sided floppy
One of the heads on my internal floppy drive died so I marked the other side as fully used. It worked!

This was in the 1.3 days when you couldn't boot from an external drive.

Can't remember the name sorry!

Wow! Thanks for digging that out, mushashi!

That'll save me from ever again editing a bitmap by hand!
