...luckily there are such websites as The WayBack Machine

I guess after all the stuff that's going on, poor "ACE Spark" is getting a little worried.

Not that he did anything wrong... or is the person using these in a commercial / paid for game:

We take them from him, so if Capcom wants to sue someone, he can start with this person and then demand us, we'll reach an agreement with them, and we'll pay for our great benefits, but CAPCON only has that power, let's leave the topic.
I'd still love to know where the rest of the graphics in this game came from though considering:

Finally! Thank you!

OK!! So it is even worse... this is not just some random design under some CC license, this is a rip from the arcade game "Don't Pull" by Capcom

I don't think Capcom Co., Ltd. would be too happy about that

Wonder where the backgrounds graphics are from...
I thought this was all done by Amiten himself.

Seems to be personal between people involved in this mess. For my part if I dislike a game I don't go in their face saying things.

Selling private goods varies country to country, in the UK at least you can sell private goods upto £85k in a 12 month period without having to register for VAT payments.

@Luis Fernández

Hi Luis! I am honestly sorry, that this project now turned out to be such mess.
You partnered up with the wrong people.....

But please do not give up! Maybe you can find someone else for the graphics or even do some of them on your own? Make sure it is genuine work this time...

After the artwork is replaced, you can relaunch this game on your own!

Namely jojo073! Luis code and Jojo's graphics could result into a really good product!

Well... that's an "Oh fuck!" moment isn't it.

Nail in the coffin right there... Selling a homebrew game containing commerical graphics is a big no-no, especially when it was never declared.

For fuck sake, why are people so stupid.

@Luiscoco : As a side note, if you time/envy, try to switch from AMOS to Blitz.
Think it could help you with the game specs/requirements
A good example of a Blitz's game is Skidmarks.

Not according to Amiten; AMOS is best apparently and far outweighs Blitz BASIC...

He should know, as he's being using Amigas since 1988; of course no one here on EAB has done the same

Yeah that's pretty damning.

But.. what a shame though. Clearly a lot of work, effort and care has gone into the project, to work the graphics into a game, create a story, a game engine, etc. It's a pity that nothing positive seems to be coming out of it. The Amiga certainly needs developers.

If Luis did the coding, and the graphics are ripped from some commercial production, what exactly is Amitens work on this exactly...?

I mean, it's written all over the game.

That would actually be a great idea!
Especially if done in Blitz then.

Yeah a shame that the EAB has potentially being brought into disrepute as well.

Don't worry Graeme, it's not the first time that people blame EAB (or it's moderators) for their scams being brought out into the open... and I fear it won't be the last unfortunately.

EAB will still continue as it always has; and as someone else said:

welcome to EAB, the main international forum about Amiga.

You obviously have a problem with AMOS (a "shit game engine like backbone or redpill" as you said) and seems to considerer that Blitz Basic is crushing it in every level but they are not that differents, being Basic based languages.
Plus I know many coders that prefer AMOS pro over BB. Not everything is black or white.

By the way, have you seen the latest game by Earok, a Man that deserve the biggest respects for what he's doing for the Amiga scene ?
BB made, yet no parallaxes and higher recquirements than Coco Banana. And some random guy thought it was intelligent to rubbish his work, even if Earok had explained why the game recquires suchs specs.
Again, not everything is black or white (and Earok made a perfect post about what we are speaking in the Amiga Facebook groupe).

Yes they are similar but that's you opinion (not fact) that AMOS is better than Blitz BASIC... look in this exact thread, you'll find many that disagree with you (and Amiten) on this matter.

Of course I know earok and his latest game: The Kiwi's Tale

Yes, he's a legend in the Amiga community and all his games are top notch!!!

...guess what they are created in; I've give you a small hint, it's not AMOS.

Regarding people rubbishing his work; that's totally not on or acceptable!!!

Eric works hard to bring quality stuff to the Amiga community, all for free and doesn't deserve negative / unjustified feedback.

You really bashed these guys to pieces here. I bet they will avoid Amiga like the plague lol. Incredible how much hate when there are other projects no need to name them that clearly violate copyrighted material for free or not who cares, still is copyright infringement. But everyone seems to like them and so much hype about them.
