amiga games in london
I found a shop today called computer games & exchange in notting hill gate in london which still deals in second hand amiga games.
I got permission to take some photos of their amiga game shelves (they're not particularly good quality - they were taken by a low res camera phone), so if anyone wants to get a rough idea of what games they have just let me know and I'll send the photos to you. |

Let's go and see them
I remember going there in 2000 and they had a few boxes of this-and-that hardware-wise (like some modulators and mice) but I don't remember any games being there. It looks like I'll have to pay them a visit again. Any of you Londoners wanna come along? We can make a show of strength for the Amiga

A few nice ones there: Elite II, Troddlers, Ultima VI, BAT II, Chaos Engine. I already have Troddlers, but that would be the one to get I reckon.

They varied quite a bit from £1 (for budget releases) to £40 (for retail version of games in "brand new" condition). I suspect the guy who runs the place may be amiable to bragaining too.
The shop also does retro games for other platforms (pc/atari/spectrum) on pretty much the same price scale...there were some pretty good bargains to be had (picked up the first three simon the sorcerer games (PC) for £6). Last edited by Imran; 23 August 2005 at 00:14. |

Not counting the double pack there are four - Simon the Sorcerer; Simon the Sorcerer II: The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe; Simon the Sorcerer's Puzzle Pack; Simon the Sorcerer 3D.

nah, cex is a different retro-games store they have branches on totenham court road and just off oxford street. They mainly focus on PC and retro console games. They did used trade amiga games once upon a time (indeed if you dig through your amiga magazines you can probably find ads for them, they advertised in both AUI and AF and probably others), but alas no-more.

I remember CEX - they always advertised games that were never released - Simon the Sorcerer 2 CD32 being the main one I remember seeing.
I bought Final Fantasy 6 from them about 8 years ago for £60, I think I was ripped off |

I don't think it has it's own website, but it's part of this chain:
