Awesome Intro Disk in ADF format

Hi guys, i'm looking for the disk 1 of awesome by Psygnosis in ADF format.
The original version is 3 discs (intro + game) and the cracked version is only 2 discs (game). Disk 1 exist in IPF format therefore can't be transfered to a real amiga.

it's possible to use maverick to create a deprotected copy of the intro disk
on a real amiga.

Thanks a lot but what is maverick ? A copy program ? Can i found it on tosec set ?

I tried to copy the ipf awesome disk 1 to a standard blank disk on winuae with maverick 5 (by selecting "parameters", then "awesome (all disks)" and "go") but the copy fails (i can't load the intro disk in winuae). More over, after i clicked on "go" a message "disc is corruct, use diskdoctor to correct it" appeared ? Any idea ?

not normal, ok, let me do a copy of my awesome intro disk ok ?

i will post the ADF in the zone. Oups, the copy is still protected.... i can copy it whenever i want,
but it's not unprotected.

Just did some testing

The full intro is on the [cr CLS] disks, afterwards the Psygnosis, then Reflections, then Awesome screen are shown... You are then asked to insert Disk 2 in DF0 and Disk 3 in DF1. Tried combinations with [cr CLS] disks and all [cr HZ] disks but cannot get past this

All a bit messy really

I think if you boot using the [cr HZ] disks they all boot straight to the Psygnosis, then Reflections, then Awesome screen (no intro). The game actally works afterwards though

We do need a clean crack with full intro

It's in the zone.

Classic crack split over 2 disks, Boot part 1 (disk0) then when you get the rainbow border insert part 2 (disk1) and press fire button to start decrunching. Then continue with Horizon crack disks 2 &3 for game as Damien mentioned above. Can't verify it's completable (yet) but i'm playing via WinUAEX at the moment.

EDIT, 1 meg chip and floppy set to 100%(compatible) or it crashes half way through intro

As for as I know, Classic released a version on 4 disks that had the intro and game. The intro spanned 2 disks. However, this came much after Horizon's version, and I only have seen the intro disks, but not the game disks. My Horizon version would crash ever so often, but after testing out the IPF version it seems that the crashes were from the game itself.

Yup, really a nice intro. Had the two disk version for years and was really surprised when I saw the intro for the first time.

So, where is Disk 3 of the "CLS" crack?
I have found out, that the Disk 3, which you can find in "BSA" archive is in true Disk 3 of "Black Sect" game, so cant be recognized by "Awesome" game.
I dont know, if the Disk 4 from "BSA" archive is a real Disk 4 of "CLS" Awesome crack.
Maybe "CLS" released the Intro only?

Disk 4 seems to be real!!
