Ratte Auto switch help

Hi There, I am having some trouble getting my Ratte Auto Switch to work with my Indivision ECS and Vampire 2 RTG outputs... I can get the input "A" connector to display - but not the "B" input! I have tried both the Vampire RTG first via a HDMI to VGA adapter and the Indivision ECS and both work when connected to "A" alone. I have tried using the jumper to switch but still cant get the outputs to switch. I do not have the cia adapter so I wanted to install a switch in place of the jumper.

I assume Ratte only works on Analog signals. The HDMI out of Vampire is digital only I guess.

take a look here - hdmi contains no analog signal:

HDMI contains no analog signal so it is not possible for any combination of passive adapters and/or cables to convert it to VGA.
Active adapters work because they use DSPs and DACs to convert from one standard to the other, but of course they are more expensive than passive cables.
so it depends on your converter, such simple 1-to-1 cables do not work it seems.
which converter do you use?

The cia is providing the switch-signal and power/ground.
For the manual mode you still need Vcc/GND for operation.

User mfilos is successfully using the switch with a hdmi-vga converter on the vampire.
