A1000 Tick Circuit
Hi,
I have an Amiga 1000 without a power supply, I was hoping to use a small ITX 200W PC power supply. But I have found that the A1000 needs a 50/60 hz sync signal from the power supply. Since PC power supplies do supply Tick signals, can I input a 50/60hz signal from a oscillator. From Jean Steadman's web site, this signal is -5v. I have emailed Ian to buy the adapter for big box ATX power supplies. |

Another option is to take tick from the video connector like is done in the wedge Amigas A500/600/1200..
Check the B2000 schematics. It has a tick jumper you can use to select the PSU tick or video tick. You should be able to do a similar circuit as is outlined there. Last edited by Jope; 12 November 2015 at 14:15. |
