Accelerator PS/2 SIMMs
Hi guys, just got a taifun MK1 accelerator for 30 notes form ebay, managed to find the manual from the file server, so happy enough so far. It's my first accerator so be please excuse the nooby questions.
The manual describes the extra ram socket as being for PS/2 SIMM, which i guess is pretty standard for an accelerator, however im also guessing its a pretty old system. Are there modern equivelents that will plug in? Is it ever described as something else other than PS/2? Apart from ebay, which came up with nothing so far, is there another source for this type of memory? And is it normally expensive? Once again, cheers in advance |
