Help with an Amazon purchase to connect Amiga 600 to VGA

I would like to connect my Amiga 600 to a VGA monitor.
I have found this very cheap thing that seems people are using to do that:

it looks like some sort of scaller. it will just convert the rgb to vga but I'm not 100%. you might get a slightly better picture, but if all its doing is converting rgb analogue to vga I cant see the point unless you only have a monitor and no TV.

Ian Stedman has done some tests on the GBS-8200, if you google his name and the product's name. It's a decent upscaler for the price, but will produce artifacts and lag.

If you don't mind spending more money, you can get an Indivision scaler/flicker fixer instead. If you don't mind waiting at least several months (and 150£), you can also look up the OSSC and get on its waiting list.

It's a rebrand of the Gonbes GBS8200 which is well known on this website. I honestly find it to be horrible and I can't stand more than one minute of it at a time.

IndivisionECS is the only way to go if you want a decent VGA picture on an A600.

I have an external adapter like the one you showed in your first post and you could use it for your purpose but the image won't be very good...

I use it just to connect an Amiga 500/600 on a monitor I have to quickly test them. If you want to use the workbench or play with a good image on a VGA Monitor you have to buy the Indivision ECS.

Keep in mind that you should find a way to put the vga output outside your A600, either making an hole on the back of the case (it is quite common to remove the rf modulator and to use that space) or leaving the case open...
