Hello Amiga lovers,

Will be possible in the future to choose in Amiga Gamebase the path for Whdload games ?

I can't move my Whdload games, then it would be nice to have this option.

I've just discovered Amiga Gamebase and it's really goob !!!!

Sorry for my english, i'm french, hope everybody will understand.

You can move your WHDLoad games to another partition, but you still need the Extras/WHLoad folders. My Gamebase Amiga folder is on D:, my WHDLoad games are on H:

You can have your WHDLoad path wherever you like, the only requirement is that the directory is called WHDLoad and you must tell GameBase that it's parent folder is your extras folder (you can have more than 1 extras folder)

so if you have your whdload games in d:\amiga\whd

you'd rename whd to WHDLoad and tell gamebase that d:\amiga is your extras folder.

Hope that's clear?

OK. But for me, it can't work because my whdload games aren't in zip files. I'll use gamebase with adf. Thanks for your help !

What are they in then?

GameBase Amiga only supports the KGWHD installs, and he supplies them as zips, so if you've got some old lha/lzx set I suggest now is the time to update.

Yeh the good thing about GB Amiga and WHD games is that you can leave them zipped which of course saves a lot on diskspace, any savegames/highscores you make are also automatically stored seperately leaving the original zips untouched

Why not just use a multi RE-zip application ...thus saving space

there are several available

And having instant compatability ??

DAMN! Belgarath you beat me to it !

Have you noticed that the letter "S" is lacking from the new download page in KGWHD site ?

The C, D and S packs were corrupt, so I'm sure the link will be back once he's reuploaded it.

Just finish downloaded the "C" files and... No problem, all is OK. Just wait for the "S" files...

Whdload is the best invention on AMIGA !

All is OK now. The "S" letter has arrived !
