Yeah, I noticed that but I think it's well worth the money. I own the original 3.1 disks as well as 1.3's, 2.04's (actually I can't remember if it was already 2.1, gotta check) and 3.0's but I never bothered backing'em up when my Amiga was still working so as time passed, the disks (actually only Workbench and Storage) ceased booting and even if I had bought special hardware to read amiga disks from my PC, I wouldn't be able to fully ADF'em. I'm working with pirated disk sets (actually I can allow myself this stuff cos I own the original disks) but they're missing important files which totally and very often ruins my emulating experience.

Well you're not using the right disks then, I personally own an original set of 3.1 and 3.0 disks and I've not got them out of their box for years, I've been using adfs for ages, which I've got from the net with 0 problems

I have compared the sizes and file count of several Workbench 3.1 v40.42 ADF compilations available online and dude, they are all different thus it's missing stuff or extra-junk, I wouldn't know but I prefer a safe move

Speaking of Softhut, has anybody purchased one of these:
http://www.softhut.com/cgi-bin/test/...d=7094130_9534 I have original disks for OS 1.3 and 2.04 that still work fine, but I had to use ADF's made to disks for OS 3.0 on the A1200. Prices seem a bit high for 3.1 at softhut, but since you need the 3.1 roms and they are the only official distributor what can you do? |

Vesalia has 3.1 disk sets for $13US. The books really aren't worth the difference in price. No offense to Software Hut since I buy a lot of stuff there.

You still need the 3.1 roms which are included in the Softhut package

You can buy 3.1 ROMs at Vesalia too: http://www.vesalia.de/ in "Subcategories of Amiga: Hardware/Spare parts"
