I don't think we need more explanations. It was beautiful that everything was a mystery in the game. Even those descriptions were very well written and maked it more mysterious. Maybe they can prefer Dark Souls style and so little clues can be scattered around.

yes i don't know why they feel the need to explain everything these days. whenever there's a film about zombies or vampires it has to be because of a virus, and there has to be a scientist explaining it in fake technical language.
actually that tide might be turning at the moment, we can hope. |

I was only kidding, giant hands reaching up and down from the ground are not something I need to have explained. It's just the way that particular world is. Still, I'd like to see someone TRY to explain that and not look like an ass
Imagine that you'd need to have explained how Indiana Jones can survive a nuclear blast in a refrigerator before you can enjoy the movie. What a terrible world that would be! |

Hey guys, I had the chance to play the Shadow of the Beast for PS4 at Games Week in Milan.
I have bad news, the game is really disappointing and boring. The atmosphere is really great and seems a good sequel of the original SOTB but the game itself lacks of fun. Basically there are orders of creatures that want to kill you and you must try to beat em all, but after 5 minutes it's always the same thing. Moreover the fighting system is really awkward, you must use some button combo and it is far from being fun. Really disappointing, but I will still buy the game....I want to give it a second chance. |

As far as I'm concerned then, it sounds exactly like the original minus the button combos obviously.

So it's lack of creativity and greatness of the original (I mean general not gameplay)?

It's 2015, can we stop pretending this game, besides its technical prowess, is great? Great to look at yes, but awful to play with. |

Today they have released a new trailer, it seems the gameplay is evolved and it looks indeed more exciting!

They are just trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from an old license. It is pretty obvious that this game will be soulless, boring and completely unimaginative. The very fact that we only got CGI trailers straight from the start and not a gram of gameplay should be reason enough to not touch the thing with a ten kilometers pole. If you need a Shadow of The Beast fix, then smoke your original floppies, you will get much more out of it than buying this crap. |
