Maybe you would like taking ReactOS and Winuae to produce
a Workbench thats more working like Amithlon?

You need good dev skills on that

I see radon_22's point and wish him all the best for his project (really ), but I'm quite happy to have the emulation within my 'everyday' computer environment. I think this Knoppix Boot CD that comes with Amiga Forever might be worth a look if you plan to do something like this.

Legally? Distribute source files that can be used with MS deployment tools (the same tools you can use to create unattended setup discs, etc.) to convert an original Windows CD/DVD to the modified one.

Edit: Or anything else that'll use an original CD/DVD to create a new one.

Reatogo then?
I know they got setups with alternate shells like aston or talisman
support for the free version of winblinds too (3.9 looking for the Windows)
it needs lot of scripting but once thats done
everyone can create his own WinUAE LiveCD (That the point - LiveCD only)

More than that. I had looked at ReactOS with some interest. However, the USB stack is noways near ready (Even AROS has it beat), it can't be installed to SD or USB, and it still can't properly install most Windows drivers (for example, Nvidia drivers hang during install).

That's why I went with BartPe- It's pretty simple, just about everyone has an XP license somewhere, and it's driver base is second to none.

about ReactOS
USB/SD is on the way (USB Mouse/Keyboard is working)
NVidia 175.x is working but crashes sometimes (up to FX52xx)
Every card that do vesa2.0 should do
Soundblaster is working too - with above's good for Amithlon machines
Compiled from SVN it runs much better/more hardware supported
But you're right: here we have to wait some time
Big + it's open source - I want to tweak it till it runs nothing but WinUAE

ReactOS and Wine profits from each other good for both
but it also means that porting Wine prog's/dll's to ReactOS is not that hard
And it can be compiled for Arm and PPC

About your PE
Can you save your setup in BartPE so that other people can built their own
in an easy way?
Should mean: I'm interrest in a short guide you did that

NB: How do you start winuae?
i made some tests with reatogo where i set WinUAE as shell but i have to
disable the welcomescreen(or set to classic) or Winuae won't be visible without pressing alt-tab
