For C64 Fans basicly

Put this together over the last couple of weeks mainly cuz i wanted to play my favorite games easily on a C64X without the hassle of setting up gamebase etc....Works on any windows...

All preconfigured....Easy install....point and click....so i thought i would share with everyone else....Check it out !!

Think this needs a bit more of a push, nice little package that highlights the C64 and some classic gaming, is similar in concept to Amiga Tribute II (which I think is tops as well!!), if you just want a quick 10 min blast of the c64 without farting around - then this is for you.

If you haven't got the Amiga Tribute II - I advise you also go hunt it out as well as it is a worthwhile DVD.

Thanks synchro, for both our time and your efforts - top bloke!!

Menu works OK on win7 (64 bit) except for the clever bit... the emulator(once a game is clicked), is permenently minimised to the top left corner with no ability to change the settings, have tried to change the Vice Settings to no avail.

Thanks for the push PaulyQ appreciated

Ok thats a wierd problem ??
so far its worked fine for everyone....had this quote from another site

Quote:
Started playing with it on my Core i7/Windows 7 x64 system; looks awesome. Where can I find some documentation on how standard keys map to the Commodore keys?
He is also 64 bit so it cant be down to that surly.....I will try it on a few more pc,s today to see if i can get your problem..

If anyone else has tried it pls post if you have had any probs....
Wonder if its a screen res problem....Once clicked it should go full screen...
But i did try a lot including HDMI on a 37 inch to a basic monitor without a hitch before putting it up for download

also tried it on my netbook which is N270 32 bit, only issue is the size of the interface/gui, maybe a choice of desktop and notebook packages so the interface fits screen?

Why vice? why not CCS, it has command line too?

It works fine on win7-64bit for me. Thereis a configure button to setup vice before launching a game. needed to setup pad to be default controller instead of keys as there are too few options while emu is running.

Ye once its running the options are limited hence the configure button in the menu....When you have set it to your prefered controls its great and the default joystick 2 ( Right CTRL and Numpad ) is pretty common for most of the 64 games if you just want to get stuck in

Did look at ccs64 but it vice just seemed to have better options
Also if this one went down well i was gonna do a vic20 ...plus4 etc versions Or an all in one installation as vice covers them all...

But considering 200 odd views and a few replies i dont think theres that much call for them.

@Cosmic Frog....

Interface/GUI might be too big for your screen, I just load the game directly into VICE.

Did i say that ....Seems to be being tried a little more now

Perhaps i jumped the gun a bit....It doesnt look much until you actually try it then you realiise how little the user has to do ...No Gamebase setups, Configurations etc....just point and click.

It may just want more time to absorb so i will add another 100 or so games to this one .... So if you guys could tell me what games you would like it will help greatly...

I've got 278 cart roms here, gimme a holler and I'll zip and send em to you!! (EDIT: ZONED!!)

Just a thought, would it be possible to make a netbbok version of the gui, the current version of the gui is rather large and even though my netbook has a resolution of 1240x800 you can't see the bottom part of the launcher gui. Or is it was possible to have e able to resize the gui in realtime??
