screenshot problems
i have noticed a bug when saving screenshots.
I am running WinUAE latest beta 8 in a window on XP. after i save a screenshot the game screen does not refresh correctly. It looks like broken segments, with game animation only visible on a very small part of it. If i grab the emulator window and move it off and back on the screen, it looks ok. This mainly happens when running WHDLoad games. not so much with ADF. screenshot function works perfectly in this version for me. File: winuae.exe v3.1.0.0 CRC-32: 15b4ae07 |

Moved from beta thread. Beta thread is only for beta specific issues. (Mentioned in first post)
You need to find last working version, include config and logs. But it sounds more like a driver problem. Does switching Direct3D <> DirectDraw mode change anything? (In misc panel) |

@.mad, you got a GB on the go my Northern m8?
Paul from the GB forums And yes, Toni does indeed love his logs and configs (nothing much gets fixed without them) |

hey paul!,
should be something new soon. Hi Toni, Thanks, indeed Direct Draw fixes the re-draw problem. But Direct 3D option works on older version with the exact same config. so it is a bug of some sort. after further testing, i notice the problem is actually with the location of the GUI window. If the GUI is centred over the game window completely, there is not a problem. if the GUI is only part covering the game window, that is the part of the game screen that does not redraw. here are the two log files (working / bugged) http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php...40117432874329 Last edited by .mad.; 16 March 2016 at 17:38. Sounds even more like a driver weirdness..
And because it is about Windows XP, you have to find the exact beta version which was last working. (I don't really support XP anymore unless all info is available. Sorry) Attach the log please, don't use external download sites. |

.mad. : you can add an attachement directly , click on [Go Advanced] and scroll down a bit until you read [Manage Attachements].
in the new window you [choose] a file from your local machine and [Upload] it afterwards. next close the Attachement window and hit [submit reply]/[send message]. just done that for you right here. |
