Need some help

As some of you may be aware, the software for Prevue Guide/TV Guide Channel was finally let out. Well, it seems that the main executable (and a couple of support programs) are compressed, but I can't figure out whether it's packed with a known standard, or something proprietary. I have attached the binary to this post, but I had to rename it esq.zip to upload it. It is not zipped, so if you download it to examine it, rename it to esq before you do anything. The compressed program is within the data hunk, and I do have an uncommented disassembly of the code hunk, but I just wanted to check and make sure that this wasn't a known format before I tried to make use of the depacking code.

Hmmm, very interesting...

Way back in '92-'93 I earned a very good living as an Amiga consultant. Yes, an AMIGA consultant! One of my gigs was the rewrite of a grid based television preview channel for a company by the name of Cable Teleguide (based in Florence, SC). Their product was used by cable systems all over the South and Mid-Atlantic states. The company was sold to Preview Guide in '93, which was then sold to TV Guide. I wonder how much (if any) of my code is in the attached executable?

Any chance the source code was "let out" too? I love to see (CRINGE) some of my old code!
