Amiga music recommendations
I got myself two little iPhone apps, SID Player Pro and Mod Player Pro. Both quite good fun.
Thing is, on the SID player I knew loads of good tunes that I wanted to listen to. Despite the Amiga having much better sound than the C64, my memory is a bit blank on what great Amiga mods I should be listening to. So far I've got Batman, Apolocalypse City and not much else. What would you recommend? |

My amiga games music TOP3:
1) Space Crusade in-game * 2) Goldrunner intro 3) Lotus Esprit Turbo intro * midi rendition through Yamaha QY100: http://shagriml.vkoski.net/temp/scrmxtry1.mp3 (don't get me wrong I love the original chiptuneish sound but a little variation is good ) |

Do a search for U4IA or F8 (Jim Young) some of his stuff is a bit mad but other stuff is just classic.
Most of, in fact virtually all of his music was created on a standard A500. See if you can get the trance/techno stuff - "Freudian Dream and Take a trip from me" are excellent tracks. Actually I have put Freudian Dream in the Zone for you. (Helps if your speakers have a bit of power!) Last edited by Peter; 20 February 2010 at 02:16. |
