Thumbs up The world's coolest toll station!

A guy in a Greek forum spotted this and took some pictures. About 250km north of Athens, outside a toll station in the highway an architect (obviously an Amiga fan) thought it would be a neat idea to plant a number of... Boing Balls!!!

Words cannot describe the awesomeness so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The guy actually asked the lady in the booth if he could take one. She was very confused and declined politely.

lol, this gave me an idea, with some clever stensils and some serious unprotected tanning - could produce some human boing balls.....no need for EAB badges at the MK 25yrs event, just show your amiga-tanned torsos

Boing Balls represent everything there is to hate in the Amiga world (Amiga Inc. post Commodore death etc.)

That's a bit harsh... as musashi said, the Boing Ball was a noble symbol before Amiga Inc. soiled it.

I like it too!

You certainly can't fault the Greek sense of humour in this instance!

yep...I remember it well and that demo is what many of us Amigans think about when we see a boing ball....absolutely nothing to do with AI & its bs

EXACTLY. That's what I think.
The boing ball (which was hideous) was not the computer's logo, the multicoloured checkmark was! The boingball was accepted as logo after Commodore died and Gateway got in the game (ie. after Amiga died for real, so so many years ago)

Everything happening after that was insult over insult to the Amiga community. But after all these years I have gathered enough knowledge to assert that there's a lot of Amiga users that are into masochism

When I see a boing ball, by the way, I think "fuck, not another checker texture mapped on a sphere!"
