mediator USB problem, Popo does not want to kick ass.

In my quest not wanting to pay a silly amount of cash for a usb solution in my A1200T I need a bit of assistance of smarter people. So this is the situation:

- Mediator LT4. Did a 3.3v mod to the first two pci slots. Why the second ? Because I only seem to have usb pci cards with a "universal" slot not playing well with a 5v only mediator ( card didn't get recognized or hub overpowered errors in Poseidon ) . This little hack seems to have solved it for a couple of cards. And now it is 3.3v Radeon ready also. Something else I don't want to pay a silly of cash for.

- ArakAttack usb driver with the latest openpci library

- A Via USB 2.0 card that is now recognized in Poseidon but as soon as I stick a device in it, I get error codes.

Now that is where I strand ... I believe the problem to be MMU related because when I turn the MMU option off in the mediator preferences I get another error. I am now more or less thinking to revert back to OS3.9 with BB2 because I honestly don't see much difference with BB3&4 apart from stability or configuration issues that I am not sure how to solve.

To say it in Poseidon's words ... please help Popo to kick ass.

Can't offer any advice, but I'd be interested to see how you get on, I'm loathe to pay the best part of £60 for a £10 USB card myself.

The last I heard that since Elbox changed something in their pci.library OpenPCI quit working, OpenPCIInfo and some of the other tools still work but I haven't heard of anyone successfully running ArakAtack, SB Live or any of the other OpenPCI drivers in a long time.
