Yeah, I tried showing some of my favorite movies to students and then was really disappointed that so many hated How can you hate Bladerunner or Road Warrior? And then there were those who hate Star Wars and Ghostbusters! I just don't get that.
I don't want to seem bigoted or anything, but it really does seem like a matter of taste. I know many people think that taste is purely subjective, but if someone actually believes Brittany Spears or Miley Cyrus is better than the Beatles or Mozart, we gotta problem!
