At least some feedback would be nice, even if they can't find the full version anymore...

Also what is the switch for by next to the elevator that leads down to the 3rd guy?

You can role past the Laser - Just press Space on the lift
I dont know if theres an ending to this Demo?
This game has grown on me and hope you guys have luck in finding the full game

Just shows what can be done with Amos and the main Sprite reminds me of Flashback looks like rotoscoping which I seem to remember was quite impressive at the time.

AMOS is a great development package in the right hands. I have come across several AMOS games that are not only great to play, but have great graphics too (e.g. Super Bubble Remix, Super Drive, Valhalla, Jet Strike, Fortress, Aero-Die-Namik, Base Jumpers, Chilly Chavez and Dithel In Space). I am still a big fan of AMOS and continue to program using it, alongside assembler (usually used to write new commands).

Back to Dark Angel...
I can now make it to the last room (with the hacker in the background), but since you start next to the guard I always get killed. I tried rolling away from him and he shoots me, and if you just crouch and shoot he kills me

An update from Karl....

Hi Peter

I've finally gotten around to firing up the old Amiga (after it being archived in the loft for years) and managed to remember how to get the hard-drive to boot.

I've not found any of the old Dark Angel material on there, nor any disks (although Ed is still looking), but I have found an absolute stack of artwork relating to Terminus 2070, the sequel we never got around to completing. While this is not really much help to you, it is a bit of a find. I just need to figure out how to get it off the old machine and onto the Mac.

Kind regards,

Karl

Not great news as far as Dark Angel is concerned - lets hope that Ed can find the full game but the artwork that Karl has found from the game sequel sounds excellent - I would really love to see that work - I will email Karl and see if he will share that...

What is the best way for Karl to transfer data from his A1200 to his MAC?

I thought about going the CF Card Adaptor route but I'm not sure if the MAC would read the CF card being FAT formatted - Can a MAC read it, do you think?

Karl will post the details of his Amiga and his MAC here a bit later I hope...

Hi Peter,

Mac OS includes a feature called PC Exchange (similar to CrossDOS on the Amiga), which gives the Macintosh read/write access to PC-formatted media, and Karl is probably familiar with it.

This should provide the means to read a FAT-formatted CF card, as long as Karl has adapters suitable for the Mac and Amiga.

When Karl reveals details of his Mac and Amiga machines, all should become clear.

Also, I remember a thread here on EAB from a while ago which discussed transferring data between a Mac and Amiga using a serial link. I'll see if I can find it and post a link.

Actually, there were two threads.

The second is the one I remember, but the first is also relevant.

Amiga Explorer on Mac (Virtual PC)
Copying from Mac to Amiga via serial cable
