How do I get this rather stunning OS 4 to run on my 1200?
Im taking id need to upgrade bits to say the least?
Would I still be able to run A1200 type applications or is it not compatible? |

You will have to buy an extremely expensive PPC card if you don't happen to own one already. OS4 runs 68k systemfriendly applications.

I havent got any expensive card. Would such a card even fit my amiga or are they for a new breed of amiga all together?

OS4.0 will run on an A1200 with a PPC accelerator. OS4.1 currently only runs on AmigaOnes and Sam440s as far as I know.

You'll never justifiably afford a Blizzard PPC.
Even the cheapest one (166MHz PPC with 68040) is roughly £200+ second hand. |

Well, we are all individuals.
(One in the crowd goes, "I'm not!") I'd gladly pay £200 for something to run the latest Archimedes OS and apps fast, for example! |

No one needs OS4 on a Classic....stay on the real side, use OS3
