Pinout is different on these two revisions.
Part must have the same code.
So 8375 390544 NTSC must be replaced by 8375 390544 PAL.
And 8375 318069 NTSC must be replaced by 8375 318069 PAL.
I did that as well:
http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=24137

In my case I've changed 8375 390544-02 to 8375 390544-01.
I used an Agnus from an A600 (PAL) and changed it with the one on my MiniMegi NTSC. Guess what? It worked, and it wasn't the same number.

Before (8375 318069-11 NTSC): http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/9...nimegichip.jpg
Now (8375 390544-01 PAL): http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/786...alminimegi.jpg

It has been working for hours of hours in my A2000, no need to select NTSC under boot any more.

@8bitbubsy,

Pinouts are different for sure.
That is why I decided not to risk and I used the same number.
Worked. :-)
Glad to hear that it can be mixed (do you any pictures left?).

Edit:
Just noticed links to the pictures, thanks!

Maybe there's some code in the little GAL chip on the MiniMegi that makes different Agnuses compatible?
I tried to put the NTSC one into the A600 where the PAL one came from, and it didn't boot, so I guess so...

So, i have a friend that happens to have a dead 600 board. He took it out for me and made the change on my mini megi, i haven't tested it yet but it looks great.

He added a socket to it and now i can take it out whenever i want.
He did it like Alexh said, it is the 8375 318069-10

Check it out.

On the left is the one that came off.

Keep hold of the old one... or sell it to USA Amiga owner.
