Xmas game making competition this year?
Hi, I was wondering if Cammy (or someone else) was going to do a game making competition this winter?
I asked Cammy a while ago if she was planning one, but she never responded. Presumably she's too busy to be dealing with a competition. I was wondering if anyone else was up for hosting one? I never got my SEUCK game finished in time last year as i was quite ill with some form of flu virus (swine flu?) that had me bed-ridden for a week. I don't think anyone would be bothered by the fact that there would be no prizes on offer. The competition boosts game making on the Amiga, and surely thats a good thing? Anyway, just thought I'd throw this out there incase anyone fancied hosting it. Last edited by Dreedo; 07 November 2011 at 15:58. |

Hi. Yep there was/is indeed another contest being held this Christmas by Cammy. The theme is movie/book/tv/etc tie ins much like they used to have back in the amiga's heyday.
This year however there is 2 categories, "Classic" and NG. Classic being custom chipset 68k based amigas, "NG" being MOS/OS4/AROS/classic+rtg. |

Amazing how the EAB fails to work sometimes... and threads just get lost in an endless loop never being posted... yes... very strange.

Yeah thanks, having a bout of bad luck with both of my Amiga's semi-not working now. So will have to see, I can do it with WinUAE if needs be though.
