Favorite xBox games

As I don't like to kill my xBox softmoding thread or "What are you playing?" threads.

I would like to hear also what games you think are worth a try for xBox.

Used xBox games here are anywhere from $1.99 up to $15 (Halo 2 and couple other 'rare' (not so) titles. Speaking of Halo2, when it was ~30 bucks for used I paid mine 10 bucks at Best Buy ) Also some places give you nice offers like Play and Traide (buy 2 games and get 3 free games for same price or less) or Game Spot (buy 2 games and get 2 free games).

So far I completed only Halo and I am more then half done with Ninja Gaiden, but got furstrated at how hard later game is, so I just give up. (now that I have trainer installed, I might complete that game )

Those are games I played and I think they are worth checking:

Conker: Live and Reloaded
Crimson Skies
Destroy all Humans!
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Halo (obvieusly)
MechAssult 2: Lone Wolf
XMen Legends (I have it on GC, but still got this one, as I can't be bothered to hook GC any more )

Also worth a try are OutRun 2 (played only arcade mode) and Stranger's Wrath (a bit unusuall game with nice videos and interesting gameplay).

So, what are you favorite xBox games and what do you suggest to try?

Got it with Sega GT 2002. Isn't that similar (if not the same) game to Jet Set Radio on DC?

I never played the DC game, but I'll say it's very much similar to it.
I think Dizzy oughta know that.

Advent Rising(buggy and frame issues but great story and believable experience - sadly no sequel planned)

Metal Arms(great fun but one of the only games you really need to stick on easy to begin with

Freedom Fighters(3rd person shooter that's a little different.Nice game)

Chronicles of Riddock(again this is quite different, still has stupendous graphics)

Psychonauts(very entertaining Tim Schafer creation that's worth at least the one playthrough)

Dreamfall(not maybe the best example of this genre but certainly worth playing)

Deus ex(not as good as the first perhaps but a decent game)

Phantom Dust(not much else like this one.Great style to it)

Sudeki(again not the best example of an action adventure but enjoyable)

Quantum Redshift(It's better than Wipeout in my opinion - amazing graphics)

Tron2(well it's tron isn't it and that warrants a playthrough - pretty good though and gorgeous atmosphere - a whole tron cycle section game included)

Unreal The Liandri Conflict(Arena based bot - great stuff)

Amped2(have your xbox run this in 720 and it will knock you out how great it looks)

Syberia 1 and 2 (worth a shot if you like serious adventures of old)

  • Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
  • Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
  • Rallisport Challenge 2
  • 007 Everything or Nothing
  • Legacy of Kain: Defiance
  • Sid Meier's Pirates
  • Stubbs The Zombie

I second Advent Rising and I would also add
Breakdown
to the list. It is a highly innovative fps. Though gameplay and especially the hand to hand combat is very flawed. But hey this game uses "full-immersion:" it never leaves the first person perspective and it gives you have a real body in the game. Mirror's Edge stole the idea from this game. In addition you get to effing hallucinate in here, how cool is that!

Did you guys ever see [ Show youtube player ] in action on XBOX ?
I have the demo released with some magazine and it's.. pardon my french.. f***ing awesome.
Rock solid 60fps with some of the best visuals I've ever seen in an XBOX racer.
Too bad the game got canned.
However the game was finished, consoletech from ASSEMblergames have the final proto.
A lot of guys asked if he'll release it and then answer has always been no.
