Problematic thread?

Hi All,

Is anyone else having trouble displaying this thread properly, or is it just me?

Possible to turn a netbook into a tiny portable emulated Amiga?

Show Unread Posts reveals that the thread has 37 replies and the last post was by ancalimon Today at 07:16, and his profile page shows that his last post was indeed in that thread.

However, when I attempt to display the thread, 40 posts are shown on Page 1 (none by ancalimon!) and the gadget shows two pages. Navigating to Page 2 updates the gadget, but Page 1 is shown again!

And hitting Show Unread Posts again still shows the post as unread.

Flushing my webcache makes no difference to this behaviour.

I only see one page with 40 posts, last post at 08 November 2009, 15:27 by doble07

Maybe it's to do with your superdooper new status? Maybe you're seeing merged/deleted posts?

PS. There are also 8 deleted posts in that thread, but I can't see any of them either!

It might be to do with the deleted posts - this bug comes up very rarely but last time I got round it by permanently deleting the soft-deleted posts.

Except, of course, the deleted posts appear to be on page two this time, so we can't access it

If you view the thread via the archive then you can read all the posts.

Looks like a job for RCK
