I remember, back in the day, when kids were selling their Amigas to get SNESes... hehe it was a sad moment!

I converted the vast majority of my Amiga disks into 1.76Mbyte SuperMagicom compatible disks by drilling a HD hole on the opposite side to where the write protect is.

Each weekend I'd be there in the garage with my dad's electric hand drill doing another 10 or so.

It wasn't until I got a HD for my Amiga and the tools to send the files over a parallel cable to the Magicom that the rest of my collection was saved.

What is unfortunate is that I mainly drilled Demo's and demo collections and kept the games. Today the games can be found as ADF files everywhere but the demo collections are rare

Like the entire EoC 1999 collection, all drilled and overwritten

I sent off the SWC this morning, I had a test and quick play around with it last night.

I think fingers is in for a shock when he realizes how long it takes to load SNES games off a floppy disk.

It wasnt that much faster sending the data over parallel cable.

I strongly recommend investing in one through if your SWC is going to be close to an Amiga/PC with a hard drive.

I might be convinced to put an Amiga in the loungeroom if I had that software!

Oh yeah, the SWC arrived yesterday & works great!

*edit* - This looks like it:

Mine isn't a DX, but hopefully it'll still work?
