NTSC and mod playing

Ok, stupid question time.

Does playing mods on a NTSC Amiga make a difference in the playback speed of them in comparison to a PAL machine?

I know in HiPPo player if I select VBlank timing, the mod plays faster. I am assuming at that point its syncing to 60Hz?

I am just wondering if I am experiencing the music at the speed it was originally intended to play at.

Depends on what timing the replayer uses and that's what you changed in Hippo.
I think that if you use CIA timing, it's the same, but if you use VBL timing, it's faster.
Having had both PAL and NTSC amigas, I think the mods play at the same speed as long as you use CIA timing. And probably even at the same pitch. But I can't remember, it's been ages since I last used my PAL A600)

I think Akira is correct so I won't reiterate what he just said.
