Miggy monitors by 'Digital'
I was looking through my local ads paper earlier and came across an ad for a 14in Amiga monitor made by a company called Digital. I've never seen one of these and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them.
Apparently it has 'bayonet fittings'. Anyone know what they are? |

Well there used to be a company named Digital Equipment Corporation or simply DEC until Compaq bought them out. Is this the manufacturer of the monitor?
Or is it just that the monitor has digital controls? Does the advert list any web site address? |

I'm not sure if that's the same Digital, but they are definitely the manufacturers. There's no web address unfortunately. It's just a one-off private ad as opposed to an Amiga specialist so details are a bit sketchy. I searched Google and came up empty handed.

Yes I came up with the same thing, lots of matches if I use just digital+monitor however
If there's a phone number, then call and get more details, like have them give you the info from the manufacturers label on the back of the monitor. This should have at least the manufacturer, model and serial. It may have more info then this as well. Then you could search Google with the model number and perhaps some more info. |

Yep, I think that's what I'll do. Thanks for the advice.

I've seen those methinks... I think the logo says "digital" all in lowercase, and the letters are printed over some blocks?

Exactly Akira, however Echostryker will ask the vendor for some more info, like that off of the manufacturers label on the back or side of the monitor so he can further research this.
I've seen the monitor(s) you say with the standard DEC lettering and such, however I think they are indeed OEM'd for DEC, meaning they are made by company XYZ with the DEC badge on them This is like how a lot of Mazda's have Ford parts and vice-versa |

I see.. so I saw DEC monitors!
Same happens with Commodore monitors. Mine is Phillips inside, but there were others! |
