DB25 to DB23 (RGB Connector) DIY Conversion

I need an Amiga RGB Plug (DB23 female). They are so hard to get that even professional cable vendors cut DB25 female plugs to DB23.
Im lucky to have found a few DB25 female plugs in my workshop. Does anybody know how easy/hard it is to cut the 2 holes from the DB25 connector? I plan to use a dremel, but maybe some other method works better?

Background Info:
I bought an GBS8200 board just for fun (already have good picture) and want to connect it. And yes, I know I could buy a cable, but where's the fun in that?

It's pretty easy to cut through. I've used a fine hacksaw and kept the end of the metal shielding, filing both it and the connector down until it all fit together nicely. I then soldered the remains of the shield on. More work than strictly necessary, but hey

A couple of options... You could cut it down on the side or in the middle, pic 1 and 2 below. If you want to restore an old db23 with fresh socket pins you can transplant the guts of the db25 into db23 front and backside plates, see pic 3 & 4. Drill the two db23 holes out little by little until you can split open the parts, try to leave material to later be used when pressed together again in a vice + solder seal it. I did this with an old db23 that was nasty soldered and it became like mint condition free from old dirt and solder and with good contact
