SWOS 96/97 tactic bug
Hi !
I already reported problem via the whdload bug tracker. Problem is when you load tactic from hdd it is bugged. In tactic editor inside game you can see that all players are placed near corner flag, no matter which tactic you load. All my SWOS mates with Whdload SWOS had the same problem. Bug was also reported on mantis bug tracker as bug number 0000563 dated 15/12/2003 Cheers ! Last edited by Gotovan; 13 October 2009 at 21:50. |

Hmmm, played last year (whdload 16.8) with SWOS 96/97 several championships using my own tactics and did not have that problem....

its very old bug same problem too
 if you save your tactic and close the game and after open game and reload your tactic its corrupted

This is a bug with SWOS not the WHDLoad version as far as I am aware.
Just like the replay bug, you have to have played a game before you can view the saved replays. |

sorry Galahad, but Kyon is right - this doesnt happen with the other HD installers.
9697 was what i tested with, and that definately had the problem |

that is all i've tried so far. i'll try and give the others from whdownload.com a try over the next few days if it helps.
looking at the file, it would appear to have saved ok (well, the first few bytes read the tactics name) - i've attached one to this post. looks like it might just be the load routine |
