WinUAE and remote desktop connection

I'm wanting to use an Intel 2800Mhz northwood 800fsb 1gig more for WinUAE. Instead of the other Intels that all are 1000Mhz, these are always busy doing other things.

The 2.8 is far to noisy, even with new fans inc psu one just renewed. Motherboard hasn't got a feature to reduce fan speed, and speedfan needs a web connection. Which i do not want a web connection on that pc. Lan connection is gigabit on all pc's and the switch.

I'm thinking that m$ desktop remote connection would be ok to do this.
Is anyone running remote pc to their pc that has WinUAE on it. Do you suffer performance issues. It would be good to know pitfalls to expect, before attempting to set up a remote desktop connection, it's only for WinUAE use.

In all honesty remote desktop isn't difficult to setup, so by the time someone has answered this, you could have set it up, tested it and reported your findings

Yes just got to build up another pc, to try this out.

Depends what you want to do. I've tried it and the frame rate isn't 100% but that might depend on your network, and I don't see how you could use a joystick.

But I did manage a remote games of The Settlers...

Thanks zardoz i'll give this idea a miss, need everything to work.

I'll have a go at trying to manualy configure s-pee-d fan. See if i can get the cpu fan thermals seen correctly, to adjust them. All in a quest to quiet the fan, whilst not wanting to add some resister. Or chop some fan wires to do it. On a brighter note, i've now got a little collection of spare new fans, for the cpu.
