Amiga games to play on Halloween?
As Halloween approaches I feel the need to gather some Amiga Horror titles,
any recommendations? Fright Night was on the Amiga wasnt it? |

Ah, Fright Night. That and Darkseed were two of the scariest games I remember playing on my Amiga.

If you have a hard drive set up, you could try an old demo I made of a game I'm still working on called Halloween Nightmare. The game will be quite different when it's finished, and will star Ami's little sister Mia and her friend Ben instead, but you might get a kick out of it for a minute or so. Together with a couple of people online, we got this whole demo made from concept to a single finished level in less than a month, and we uploaded it just in time on Halloween morning.
You can find it here http://aminet.net/package/game/demo/...nNightmareDemo |

Elvira - Mistress of the Dark. Awesome game imo, one of my absolute favourite games all time.

Recently saw a complete run through on Youtube and found it somewhat bizarre... especially the hall of mirrors and English Country Garden level. Weird, but very cool and unique... |

I will try the game Nightbreed, made as a game after the movie; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightbreed Could never finish it, still have the original game with manual in a box somewhere.

Probably a stretch, but perhaps Wizball? It's one of my favorites.

I've tried many times to play Ghosts'n Goblins on MAME, but holy cow--that is a HARD game. I've never been able to play more than 10-15 minutes.
It's not an Amiga game, but one of the scariest modern titles I've come across is "Scratches," the adventure game. I highly recommend it! You will definitely be creeped out by the ending. |
