Problems with icons...

I have a strange problem. I downloaded Classic P96 Workbench, installed it and started installing games. However, while games acquired through KillerGorilla WHD Load packs look and play excellent, I have trouble with custom installations. Whenever I download a set of icons, I cannot see them in my Workbench. They are just gray/black squares. The same thing happens with specific icon sets downloaded from GameIcons.info. At the same time, icons from KillerGorilla games are working just fine.

I tried changing resolution, color depth and various WinUAE parameters. Can somebody help me with advice?

You need OS3.5+.

GlowIcons are not supported in Workbench 3/3.1. KillerG uses Newicons in his packs as they are universally compatible across the Workbenches.

But KillerGorilla may already use those in the packs along with a few custom ones he made.

Newicons are limited in size and colours compared to Glowicons, so don't expect the same quality. If you have a copy of OS3.5+, you may want to try:

I built ClassicWB more for real Amigas, so if you're after eye candy those P96 Workbenches may be your best bet as they accept OS3.5+ disks.

Yes, well, that's the problem... I use Classic P96, but cannot see glow icons. I can see new icons no problem whatsoever, but nothing for OS 3.5+. I use WinUAE, btw...
