Running in full screen?

Hi all,

Im running Winuae (lates version) and trying to get OS3.9 running properly. Its all installed fine but I just cant get the thing into full screen.

First thing, the resolution in Winuae is set to 1280 X 1024 and when it runs it just uses half the screen, even though its supposedly set to full screen.

Now, when I knock this resolution down, i just cant get Picasso96 to run in any decent enough resolution, or colours (max 256). i`ve got a pretty decent PC and enough RAm and video gfx.

Any advice?

First thing, the resolution in Winuae is set to 1280 X 1024 and when it runs it just uses half the screen, even though its supposedly set to full screen.

"Full screen" in WinUAE means that it does not run in a Windows window but uses the entire screen. It does not change the Workbench resolution. Workbench always runs at its native resolution choosen in Prefs/Screenmode (e.g. PAL:High Res 640x256). In order to stretch the display to the entire screen, you have to use the filter settings.

Make sure that WinUAE has "enough RAM and video gfx", too. Set them on the RAM configuration page. Picasso96 uses all screen modes offered by the Windows gfx driver. So if your Windows desktop runs at a high resolution and many colors, Prefs/Screenmode should show these modes, too, given that Picasso96 is installed properly and that there is enough gfx memory (a.k.a. RTG memory).

I managed to get it working. just had to install the proper Picasso drivers.
