And yes, i forgot to say that rtg and opengl works like a charm!!!. The amiga is capable of use the pc graphics card performance, as well as the system main ram and hard drives. So it will end as a really killer Amiga!!!

It doesnt need the card. And it's actually quicker if you can use the SCSI network rather than ethernet.

Yes, like Alexh said, there is no need of hardware dongle or card on the latest version.
As for the uploading to the zone, i'm not sure, because i think it's a non free program, and still it's copyrighted. |

Gosh Methanoid you snuck in before me
Obviously you seem the man for the job It will be yet another one to TRY & find the copywrite holder of as there seem to be no LIVE weblinks to the company who were developing it. The last reports were over their attempts to take "pre-orders" for a v4 PCI RTG board as reported in http://www.cucug.org/amiga/aminews/1...4-siamese.html And that was 1998 .....Nothing since ! As for its value outside of intergrating an amiga & a PC in the SAME tower as opposed to being conected via ethernet...I don't know if it's worth the e-mail & papertrail to chase it Any volanteers ??? |

It is still available, although I doubt Paul or Steve get any of the money nowadays.
http://www.softhut.com/cgi-bin/test/...=8713412_31026 $35 I am almost sure this is the 2.5 version. |

I have it, but since it uses a dongle on the PC side it won't do you much good. (Unless you're handy at cracking Sentinel dongle protection).

Latest version works without dongle or pci car dof any type. That card was supposed to produce, but due to lack of funds, they released only the soft.
Sad. |

I've got the hardware board for monitor switching. It was so useful. The Windows software doesn't work on 2000/XP though. I once mailed Paul Nolan for the source code to see if I could get it going, but never got a reply.

Seems that there is no support for siamese system and software is not availlable from maker of it.
Allmoust every game and software for amiga is availlable comercially somewhere. And is allso possible that siamese doesn't work with OS 3.5 / 3.9 can anyone confirm that? http://experts.about.com/q/Amiga-Pro...se-OS3-5-3.htm I would like heard some information more, how is performance in games etc |

If you cannot even get WHDload to work, you aint going to be able to setup Siamese.
Performance in games? It's an RTG solution... if the game doesnt support RTG chances are it wont work. As all games that support RTG are rubbish (well they are!) then this is of no use to a gamer. Main use... Workbench and workbench apps that are RTG compliant at gfx card resolutions with an accelerated Amiga with ethernet. Last edited by alexh; 12 February 2006 at 23:01. |

napalm that supports rtg is not rubbish...
other than that I cannot think of any other... lol ports do not count! either way, it seems a strange solution, u need 2 machines running, cables, software on both sides... how is perfomance? better than a pci busboard? and how does it redirect gfx? though lan? is it enough? |
